ZAGREB/VUKOVAR, June 28 (Hina) - A three-day international
congress "Mothers for Peace" ended in Zagreb on Sunday.
The participants adopted several conclusions and a statement which
will be sent to the United Nations.
The meeting agreed to establish an initiative committee which would
implement the adopted conclusions and support greater
understanding in the world.
The participants will request the international community to help
in the reconstruction of war-ravaged areas, school and health
system improvement, children care and greater financial
independence for women.
The meeting condemned the Serbian aggression on Croatia, Bosnia-
Herzegovina and Kosovo.
The participants today visited the Vukovar New Cemetery where the
exhumation on 930 victims of the Serbian aggression ended last
Friday.
The second congress "Mothers for Peace" was held under the auspices
of the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman.
