FRANKFURT, June 18 (Hina) - The former commander of the World War
Two Jasenovac concentration camp, Dinko Sakic, who Croatian
Interpol representatives are escorting to Croatia, arrived at
Frankfurt airport on Thursday morning. From Frankfurt he will be
transferred to Zagreb.
Apart from Croatian Interpol, Sakic is also under the supervision
of German border police in Frankfurt, said their spokesman Klaus
Ludwig.
It is expected that Sakic will arrive in Zagreb from Frankfurt this
evening on a regular Croatia Airlines flight.
Argentinean authorities handed Sakic over to Croatian Interpol in
Buenos Aires on Wednesday. In Zagreb he will be tried for crimes
against humanity.
