CROATIA EXPECTS TOURISTS FROM BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA

( Editorial: --> 8333 ) SARAJEVO, June 2 (Hina) - Croatia is expecting tourism revenue could reach 2 billion 850 million US dollars in 1998, announced Croatian Tourist Association President Marjan Bulat in Sarajevo on Tuesday. At the press conference organised during the "Croatia Day" celebration held this week in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulat emphasised Croatia's achievement in reconstruction of tourist facilities. "Following the year 2000 Croatia could expect yearly revenues of 4 billion US dollars from tourism, which would cover the entire market deficit we have", said Bulat. Bulat especially invited tourists from Bosnia to choose Croatia as their holiday destination this year, stressing that they will get the highest quality service for their money, the cleanest beaches in Europe and guaranteed total safety. Bulat expressed expectations that the Dubrovnik-Neretva and Split- Dalmatia counties would once again become summer holiday destinations for most Bosnian tourists. (hina)dgr/lml 021709 MET jun 98
