BEIJING, April 4 (Hina) - Croatia's Assistant Foreign Minister Vera
Tadic, ended her official visit to Mongolia on Saturday, during
which direct contacts were established between the foreign
ministries of both countries.
In talks between Tadic and Mongolian Assistant Foreign Minister
Dahdavaagiin Chulunndorje it was agreed the two ministries would
conclude a protocol on cooperation and mutual consultation, which
would be signed during Chulunndorje's visit to Zagreb.
Tadic also discussed bilateral relations with Mongolian Foreign
Minister Shuker Altangerel and chairman of the Mongolian
parliamentary committee for national security and foreign affairs,
Sanjaasurengiyno Zorigo.
Mongolian officials expressed readiness to begin drawing up
international agreements on economic and trade relations,
promotion and protection of investments, and avoidance of double
taxation.
They also showed an interest in training Mongolian professionals in
Croatian universities, especially for tourism industry needs, and
exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas.
