US HUMANITARIAN ORGANISATION BUILDS HOUSES IN CENTRAL BOSNIA

( Editorial: --> 2497 ) BUGOJNO, March 26 (Hina) - Representatives of the Catholic Relief Services organisation, based in the United States, on Thursday signed a contract for the reconstruction of housing and infrastructure in the Bugojno municipality. The contract, worth US$154,000, covers the reconstruction of twenty Croatian and twenty Muslim houses in six villages as well as the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities in the Bugojno municipality. The relief organisation also agreed to reconstruct the houses of 14 cantonal police officers, eight Croats and six Muslims. According to parish priest Mirko Majdandžić, only 1,600 out of the 17,000 Bugojno Croats had remained in the municipality. (hina) jn as 261401 MET mar 98
