DONORS' CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN ZAGREB IN MID MAY

( Editorial: --> 9350 ) ZAGREB, March 13 (Hina) - A donors' conference, entitled "Development and Reconstruction of Croatia", will be held in Zagreb mid May. The Croatian Government has already prepared reconstruction projects and will soon send them to foreign governments and international organisations and institutions through its diplomatic missions, a Reconstruction and Development Ministry spokesman, Vladimir Loncarevic, told Hina. The donors' conference was to be held in Vukovar at the end of April but it was agreed with international representatives, at their request, that the conference be held in mid May and refer to the reconstruction of the whole of Croatia and not only the Danube region. This was discussed at a recent meeting between Foreign and Reconstruction and Development Ministers Mate Granic and Jure Radic respectively and OSCE representative Tim Guldimann and US Ambassador to Croatia, William Montgomery. There were no delays in the preparation of projects for the conference on the part of Croatia, and international representatives suggested that the conference be held in mid May instead of the end of April, said Loncarevic.
