PRISTINA, March 24 (Hina) - Strong Serbian police forces on Tuesday
surrounded several villages in the Decani municipality, the Kosovo
Information Centre said today.
Shooting and detonations could be heard coming from the direction
of Decani.
Eyewitnesses told the Centre that fire and smoke could be seen in
one of the villages (Glodjane).
The Kosovo Democratic Alliance branch in Decani said armoured
vehicles and helicopters were participating in the attacks.
