PREPARATIONS FOR BUILDING OF ZAGREB-DUBROVNIK MOTORWAY INTENSIVE

( Editorial: --> 0995 ) ZAGREB, Mar 20 (Hina) - We are intensively working on closing the financial scheme for the building of the Zagreb-Bihac-Dubrovnik motorway, Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic and the vice president of U.S. company Bechtel, Charles Redman, told Croatian Radio Television Thursday evening. According to Radic, the vice president's presence is a confirmation that activities aimed at closing the financial scheme and resolving some technical details of the whole project are intensive. A lot has been done in the past six months to complete this project, especially in the last two months, said Redman. He was optimistic regarding cooperation with the Croatian government. This is a very complex process and a big project and there are several issues which have to be properly resolved both for Bechtel and the Croatian government, Redman said.
