ZAGREB, March 16 (Hina) - The delegations of the Republic of
Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina met in Zagreb on Monday to resume negotiations on the
establishment of special relations between Croatia and the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the strenghtening of bilateral
cooperation and other pending issues.
The negotiations on these issues were being conducted in the spirit
of the Washington Accords, the Tudjman-Izetbegovic Joint Statement
of August 1997 and the Dayton Agreements, the Croatian Govnerment's
public relations office said.
The Croatian delegation was led by Foreign Minister Mate Granic and
Economy Minister Nenad Porges. Bosnia-Herzegovina was represented
by the Minister for Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the
Council of Ministers, Mirsad Kurtovic, and the Federation by
Justice Minister Mato Tadic.
The delegations agreed to keep meeting every week, alternately in
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, until an agreement on these issues
was reached.
