ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Croatia's Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina
Darinko Bago Saturday met with the deputy international High
Representative for BH, General Jacques Klein.
Bago relayed a protest regarding Klein's statements made in an
interview which appeared in the February 27 issue of Bosnian daily
Dnevni Avaz in relation to a speech Croatian President Franjo
Tudjman gave at last weekend's fourth general convention of the
ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).
According to a statement from the Croatian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, Klein said the office of the High Representative was very
concerned and that the statements made in the interview were a
consequence of slow progress in the peace process in BH, as well as
of the latest events in the Danube river region of eastern Croatia.
