ZAGREB, Mar 9 (Hina) - The United States is concerned at the Bosnian
Croats' absolute obstruction of the implementation of the peace
agreements in Bosnia-Herzegovina, special US envoy for the
implementation of the Dayton agreement Robert Gelbard told
Monday's issue of Feral Tribune weekly.
Gelbard said Bosnian Croats were hindering the implementation of
the Dayton agreement at all levels, from the state to the local
level, and also mentioned attacks on refugees in Stolac, southern
BH, and Drvar, western BH.
The US no longer requests but demands that all structures and pre-
Dayton institutions of Herzeg-Bosna be abolished, Gelbard said,
adding there could be no negotiations on the matter.
He warned current Bosnian Croat leaders to back out if they were not
willing to implement the peace agreement for Bosnia.
Move out of our way or we will eliminate you, Gelbard said.
The US envoy criticised the Bosniak (Muslim) side as well.
Bosniaks, he said, showed an extreme lack of will to equally divide
authority with their Croat partners in the Bosnian Federation.
Speaking about Croatia's relations with the US, Gelbard said they
could be better, but it was necessary that Croatia comply with its
commitments.
Croatia has a great responsibility and we hope with its performance
it will show it is at the level of the international community's
expectations, Gelbard told feral tribune weekly.
