ZAGREB, Feb 12 (Hina) - The Croatian oil company INA has released a
new product - the lead-free petrol Ina Eurosuper plus 98 (BMB-98).
A litre of this type of petrol costs just above DM 1.
For the time being it is sold at only one petrol station in Zagreb,
but as of 14 February it will be sold at 16 stations throughout
Croatia.
Eurosuper plus 98 is the third in a series of lead-free types of
petrol, produced in the last five years thanks to Ina experts.
It is intended for cars such as Porsche, Audi S-4 and Maseratti.
According to Ina marketing director Srecko Simunovic, Ina is
releasing its new lead-free petrol much earlier than requested by
European standards - the use of lead in all types of petrol is to be
banned by the year 2005.
Taking into account the highest ecological standards and the needs
of its customers, with Eurosuper plus 98 Ina has given its
contribution to the tourist offer as well as to technological
demands of the motor vehicle industry, Simunovic said.
He announced that Ina would soon release a new type of diesel petrol
of higher quality and higher ecological standards.
