ZAGREB, 21 Jan (Hina) - The Croatian oil company INA has opened 47
oil rigs in the Croatian Danube river region.
Of those 47 rigs, 38 are at the oil field Djeletovci and nine at the
oil field Privlaka.
At the beginning of December last year, some hundred workers
produced 380 tonnes of oil and about 32,000 cubic meters of oil gas a
day, which is 25% above planned quantities.
INA has also reconstructed 15 petrol stations in the region, which
now employ 295 workers.
The value of oil and gas stolen during the war from the oil fields in
Djeletovci, Ilaca and Privlaka was estimated at US $77.84 million,
INA representatives say.
