ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina)- On Tuesday Deputy President of the Croatian
National Parliament Jadranka Kosor talked with a delegation of the
Hungarian World Association.
This year will be marked with the return of displaced persons and
Croatia will need help in that process, said Deputy President,
adding that so far over 9,000 DPs had returned to the Danube region,
including 458 ethnic Hungarians.
"Members of the Hungarian authorities enjoy the Government's
support, which is growing by the year", she added.
"Minority issue is one of the most important problems of our times.
It is the focal point of all our activities", said President of the
Hungarian World Association Sandor Csoori. He pointed out that out
of 15 million Hungarians, 10 million live in Hungary and the rest in
other countries.
The Hungarian World Association is a non-governmental
organisation, which will mark its 60th anniversary this year.
During its stay in Zagreb the delegation of the Hungarian World
Association visited the Hungarian language department at the
Zagreb University's Faculty of Arts and Letters.
