BRUSSELS, 9 Feb (Hina) - Leaders of four religious communities in
Bosnia-Herzegovina commenced a two day meeting in Brussels on
Monday with high officials of European institutions and NATO.
Hans van den Broek, the European Union's commissioner for
international relations with countries of central and eastern
Europe, this morning received reis ul ulemu of the Islamic
community in Bosnia-Herzegovina Mustafa Ceric, Sarajevo
metropolitan episcope Nikolaj, Sarajevo archbishop and president
of the Bishop's Conference in Bosnia-Herzegovina Vinko Puljic and
Jakob Fincij, president of the Jewish community in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
Leaders of the religious communities wish to convince all their
hosts in Brussels that they can give their specific contribution to
the integration of B-H in Europe.
They will ask for the EU's assistance in the reconstruction of
demolished religious objects for which they will submit a joint
proposal.
