SARAJEVO, Feb 2 (Hina) - Bosnian Presidency member Momcilo
Krajisnik Monday expressed dissatisfaction with the solution for
the appearance of new registration plates for vehicles in Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
"It is a wrong move that people will take badly", Krajisnik told
reporters after a Presidency session.
The new registration plates "will cause revolt and will always be
Westendorp's or Klein's plates, and not (plates) of the people
accepting them", said Krajisnik commenting on the presentation of
Bosnia's uniform vehicle registration plates, expected to ensure
bigger freedom of movement.
Before an agreement was reached between interior ministers of the
Croat-Muslim Bosnian Federation and the Bosnian Serb entity,
Bosnian Serbs wanted registration plates to retain the insignia of
Bosnia's two entities.
Krajisnik also said the Presidency had finally agreed on a
candidate for Bosnia's ambassador to the United States, but refused
to reveal his name.
He is an "excellent diplomat" on whose candidacy all three sides
agreed with no remarks, said Krajisnik.
Jovan Zametica, a close associate of Bosnian Serb war criminal
Radovan Karadzic, was initially proposed by Bosnian Serbs for
ambassador, but Washington refused to accept such a person.
