VUKOVAR, 29 Jan (Hina) - A fortnightly newspaper for refugees from
Vukovar - which from 30 May 1992 was regularly published in Zagreb -
on Thursday moved its headquarters to the eastern Croatian town.
"Vukovarske novine" publishes 2,300 copies and the editorial staff
hope to transform the newspaper into a weekly.
Otherwise, during the Serb occupation a fortnightly newspaper of
the same name was published in Vukovar, which also currently
operates.
According to the information committee of the Joint Council of
(Serb-majority) Municipalities (ZVO), this newspaper is awaiting
registration in accordance with Croatian regulations.
