ANKARA, 21 Jan (Hina) - Turkish President Suleyman Demirel and
Premier Mesut Yilmaz on Wednesday received the co-chairmen of the
Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Haris Silajdzic and
Boro Bosic, as well as vice co-chairman Neven Tomic.
This is the first visit of a three-member government delegation to a
foreign country since the establishment of Bosnia's Council of
Ministers more than a year ago.
During the meeting, the Turkish side said that all forms of
assistance to Bosnia-Herzegovina would be conditional on the
grounds of preservation of multiethnic, multicultural and
multireligious characteristics of Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as
its sovereignty and integrity within its internationally
recognised borders.
It was also said that all three peoples in Bosnia-Herzegovina have
to be consistent in implementing all segments of the Dayton Peace
Agreement.
