ZAGREB, 14 Jan (Hina) - A high delegation of the Croatian Defence
Ministry visited Slovenia on Wednesday.
The delegation, headed by the Croatian army Chief Of Staff,
Lieutenant General Pavao Miljavac, held talks with the head of the
Slovene army headquarters, Lieutenant General Albin Gutman and
Slovene Defence Minister Tit Turnsek.
Croatian representatives were also received by the Slovene
President Milan Kucan.
Following the talks in the Slovene Defence Ministry, Gutman and
Miljavac stressed the importance of today's talks which also
tackled the intensification of cooperation between the two
armies.
The two delegations also discussed the signing of a cooperation
agreement and exchanged experiences concerning operations aimed at
the protection of peace, said Miljavac.
