ZAGREB, 13 January (Hina) - Speaker of the Croatian Parliament,
Vlatko Pavletic has called the 27th session of the House of
Representatives for 21 January.
The suggested agenda has 26 items including draft amendments to the
value added tax law, suggested by Mato Arlovic and Antun Vujic,
representatives of the Social Democratic Party.
Among bills to be proposed in the first reading are: a bill on the
Government of the Republic of Croatia; draft amendments to the law
on special duties on alcohol; and draft amendments to the law
governing the rights of Croatian Homeland War Veterans and their
families, suggested by representatives of the Social Democratic
Party, Slavko Linic and Mato Arlovic.
The suggested agenda also includes reports by the Government
Auditing Bureau and a half-yearly financial report - from January
to June 1997 - by the Croatian National Bank which will also provide
a half-yearly report on economic trends.
