VUKOVAR'S "BOROVO" FOOTWEAR COMPANY RESUMES MANUFACTURING

( Editorial: --> 3315 ) VUKOVAR, Jan 9 (Hina) - The footwear company from Vukovar, "Borovo", one of the most devastated companies in Croatia, on Friday resumed with the manufacturing of leather footwear. According to Ante Oklopcic, a member of the company's administration, 138 workers will manufacture 800 pairs of shoes a day. The first shoes will be placed on the market January 14, Oklopcic told reporters in Vukovar, adding that 45,000 pair of shoes should be manufactured per day for the market in Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina by May 10.
