VUKOVAR, Dec 24 (Hina) - The president of the Joint Council of (Serb-dominated) Municipalities (ZVO), Milos Vojnovic, on Friday extended his best wishes to all Croatian citizens celebrating Christmas according to the Gregorian
calendar. "This year, Christmas celebrations and the arrival of the new millennium are taking place in the atmosphere of elections, which, I believe, will be organised in a fair and correct manner; by voting for those whom they believe are the best candidates, citizens will give their full contribution to the improvement of democracy and further establishment of multiethnic tolerance in Croatia," the message read. Vojnovic also wished all citizens a happy New Year, adding he wished it be the year of progress in all spheres of life.(hina) rml
