The Croatian flag carrier has planned this trip in agreement with Alitalia's office for special flights and prepared a programme for this flight in order to promote Croatian heritage and render the flight comfortable and pleasant.
Services in the plane will be also adjusted to needs of those respectable guests, Croatia Airlines reported on Friday.
The Holy See also entrusted the Croatian company with the organisation of the return of Pope John Paul II during his visits to Croatia in 1994, 1998 and 2003.
Apart from Alitalia, only a few air companies, including Croatia Airlines, have so far been employed to carry the pontiffs on their trips, as this task requires the fulfillment of special security conditions.
