first four months as against the same period last year. This accounted for a 5.5 million kuna (approx. $632,000) turnover, or 23 percent more than over the same period in 2000. The national park's administrative board convened for a session on Friday, concluding DEM200 million were required to renovate the park's facilities and infrastructure. Tender documentation will be produced this summer in view of inviting an international bid later this year aimed at finding a strategic partner interested in turning the Brijuni Isles into an elite tourist destination.(hina) ha
