RIJEKA RIJEKA, April 17 (Hina) - Local reporters on Tuesday toured the United States Navy's ship, called USS Nashville, which is anchored in the "Viktor Lenac" shipyard in the biggest Croatian seaport of Rijeka. The ship arrived in
shipyard for minor repairs. The marines and crews from this vessel and USS Nassau and USS Portland, which are part of the Sixth Fleet, are taking part in the joint military exercise with the Croatian army at the artillery range in Slunj (some 100 kilometres south of Zagreb). USS Nashville, which is 182 metres long, carries ten trucks, 30 off-road vehicles, a few helicopters and boats. There are some 750 marines, sailors and 30 officers aboard.(hina) ms
