ZAGREB ZAGREB, March 1 (Hina) - The Fourth Round Table of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative, in charge of culture, education, inter-university and scientific cooperation, held a meeting in Zagreb on Thursday, the Croatian Foreign

Croatia's representatives presented suggestions on cooperation within the Fourth Round Table, including cooperation among universities, scientific cooperation, which would be coordinated from the International University Centre in Dubrovnik, as well as cooperation among archives and in the preservation of cultural heritage. Croatia also proposed cooperation in the field of education, with special emphasis on environmental education. The designing of the Initiative's visual identity was suggested too, with Croatia's representatives presenting a draft logo, to be used during Croatia's presidency over the Initiative. Thursday, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Croatia's representatives presented suggestions on cooperation
within the Fourth Round Table, including cooperation among

Round Table, and Assistant Culture Minister Naima Balic was
appointed Table chairwoman.
Participating in today's meeting were officials from Albania,
Greece, Croatia, Italy, Yugoslavia and Slovenia and a European
Commission representative.
Croatia's delegation included officials from the ministries of
culture, education and sport, science and technology, foreign
affairs and European integration, read the statement.
