MUNICH'S TRAVEL FAIR OUTSTANDING MUNICH, Feb 19 (Hina) - The interest of German tourists in Croatia increased by about 30 percent in relation to 2000, director of the Croatian Tourism Association Niko Bilic said Monday. According to
him, German tourists and organisers of trips showed increased interest in the country when visiting Croatian stands at the 32nd international tourist fair in Munich, CBR 2001. In the first four days of the fair, over 6,000 brochures and price lists were handed out, while tourists showed the greatest interest in camping and Croatia's nautical offer, Bulic added. Members of the German autoclub, ADAC, also expressed great interest in Croatia. Bulic said that the signing of an agreement on the control of quality and cleanliness of the sea, scheduled for today was postponed due to a busy schedule of the Croatian Tourism Minister. The agreement will be signed in Berlin in early March during the

At this year's tourist fair in Munich, Croatia is presented at two
stands. In cooperation with the Croatian Tourist Association, the
country was presented by tourist associations of Istria County,
Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Zadar County and Split-Dalmatia
County, Croatia Airlines and the Association of Croatia's Nautical
tourism.
Munich's CBR 2001 travel fair is Germany's leading international
fair introducing tourist destinations, camping and nautical
equipment. This year, 1,070 exhibitors from 53 countries
introduced their products on 77,000 square metres in seven halls.
The fair will be open until February 25.
