ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - The Croatian Defence Ministry has not issued any order forbidding active military personnel and military officials to attend today's meetings of support for general Mirko Norac, Defence Ministry spokesman Dusan
Viro told Hina on Sunday. With regard to this, Viro confirmed that Croatian Armed Forces' Chief-of-Staff, General Petar Stipetic, only forwarded a letter reminding that the Croatian Armed Forces' Regulation Book forbid army members to attend public gatherings and protest rallies wearing either military uniforms or parts of military uniforms. Viro gave the statement to dismiss claims published by some Croatian media saying the ministry instructed army members not to attend protest meetings in civilian clothes either.(hina) rml
