ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - Representatives of 16 associations of the Homeland War veterans claim that their call to protest against the arrest of retired General Mirko Norac and his war-time deputy Milan Canic, does not aim at subverting
the constitutional order. They called upon Homeland Defence war veterans to peacefully protest outside of the Croatian parliament and government on February 15. The associations issued a statement protesting against a conclusions, proposed in the parliament Friday, which demand a report of the government on "organisers of activities aiming at subverting the constitutional order and legally elected authorities in Croatia". Representatives of the Homeland Defence War veterans claim that

They aslo accused the authorities of being incompetent and claim
that the government is trying to put the burden of their own
unsuccessful policy on the veterans' population.
