Deputy Prime Minister, Zeljka Antunovic, said the basic intention of the Government which proposed this text was to create a legal framework for the transformation of the HRT into public radio and television. She reminded that a wide public discussion had been conducted on different variants of the draft act. Many amendments have been proposed and the Government has so far accepted the amendments suggested by members of the six-party ruling coalition as well as many other amendments. night insisting on Premier Racan's clarification of the
circumstances under which retired general Mirko Norac should be
arrested, did not appear in the Sabor hall this morning.
