ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - As the head of a Croatian delegation, President Stipe Mesic on Wednesday started a two-day official visit to Turkey, during which he is expected to hold intensive talks on bilateral relations, particularly
economic cooperation. On the first day of the visit, Mesic will hold talks with Turkish President Ahmet Nacdet Sezer, parliament speaker Omer Izgi, Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit and former Turkish President Suleyman Demirel. On Thursday Mesic should visit Izmir and hold talks with governor Aladdin Yuksel. Apart from bilateral relations, the Croatian-Turkish talks should focus on the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative. The Croatian delegation also includes Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, Tourism Minister Pave Zupan-Ruskovic, and European Integration Minister Ivan Jakovcic.(hina) it
