SARAJEVO, Dec 31 (Hina) - The Croatian People's Council of Bosnia-
Herzegovina (HNV) believes that the visit of Croatia's
parliamentary delegation to Bosnia-Herzegovina is not a welcome
act and that it is contrary to the need to build good neighbourly
relations between the two countries.
HNV's president Ivo Komsic sent a letter to Croatian Sabor Speaker
Zlatko Tomcic, expressing concern about a two-day visit a Croatian
parliamentary delegation, led by Zdravko Tomac, is to pay to
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Croatian parliamentarians should leave for Bosnia-Herzegovina
tomorrow.
"This delegation is actually coming at the invitation of the
Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina, without the
invitation of authorised bodies of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is
contrary to the building of good neighbourly relations between the
two countries," reads the letter, adding "some members" of the
delegation are directly responsible for the current situation in
Bosnia, especially for the tragedy of the Bosnian Croat people.
Komsic warns that by acting so the Croatian parliament "is joining
those forces which are doing their best to obstruct the
establishment of the elected executive authority in Bosnia-
Herzegovina and continue stalling the transition of authority from
nationalist to democratic forces, preserving at the same time HDZ's
ruling position in Bosnia-Herzegovina."
"If the Croatian Sabor really wants to concern itself with the
position of Bosnia-Herzegovina Croats, it can do so also in Croatia
because most of those unfortunate people live there, without any
rights or prospects and in other people's houses."
