ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - On the occasion of his recent appointment as Croatian Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader has received messages of congratulations from his Hungarian and Slovene counterparts, Peter Medgyessy and Anton Rop
respectively, and from Serbia-Montenegro President Svetozar Marovic.
ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - On the occasion of his recent appointment as
Croatian Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader has received messages of
congratulations from his Hungarian and Slovene counterparts, Peter
Medgyessy and Anton Rop respectively, and from Serbia-Montenegro
President Svetozar Marovic.#L#
In his note, Medgessy recalled the excellent relations between Croatia
and Hungary over the past decade, and said his country was willing to
share with Croatia its experience in the social and economic changes
undertaken during the process of European integration.
Slovenia's Rop wished Sanader success in the performance of his duty.
He said in his note the Slovene government wished to develop with
Croatia relations that would lead to progress for both peoples, with
an aim to co-exist in the European Union and NATO as soon as possible.
President Marovic voiced confidence Croatia and Serbia-Montenegro
would work together to develop all-round cooperation, saying this is
in the interest of the two countries, stability and progress in the
region as well as in accordance with European integration processes.
