According to the Serbian daily, the information on the appearance of
Legija, a former commander of the Serbian Interior Ministry's units
for special operations called 'Red Berets', was confirmed by some
circles in both Croatian and Serbian authorities, as well as by
members of the underground.
"The reason why Croatians did not try to arrest him is not known," the
daily said.
A warrant for Lukovic's arrest was issued a few days after Djindjic's
assassination in mid-March.
