Zagorec suffered a broken nose and bruises on his lower arms, stomach
and back. After receiving medical treatment in a hospital, he was
released, Zagreb police reported on Tuesday, revealing only the
initials and age of the retired general and former assistant defence
minister.
The motive of the attack is still unknown and the police are looking
for the perpetrators.
