Around 0030 hours on Sunday, SFOR carried out a focused operation in
Travnik, central Bosnia, and arrested a person suspected of being
involved in activities threatening the stability and security of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) said in a statement
without revealing the identity of the arrested person.
The operation came only days after a warning from US Ambassador
Clifford Bond that Bosnia-Herzegovina was facing a threat of terror
strikes.
About two weeks ago, SFOR carried out a similar operation in the
village of Serici near the central town of Zenica, saying that it was
following leads indicating the activity of the Al Qaeda terrorist
network and other radical groups in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
