application of an agreement on free trade with Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro for six months.

Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska issued a statement on
Saturday urging the entity's government to insist that the
authorities of Bosnia-Herzegovina postpone the application of an
agreement on free trade with Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro for
six months. #L#
The free trade agreement, which is to go into force on 1 January
2004, abolishes import duties for agricultural products from
Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro.
If the implementation of the agreement is not postponed, the
population of the Serb entity will suffer economic and social
damage, the association said.
