ZAGREB, Nov 28 (Hina) - Croatia exported US$5.13 billion worth of goods in this year's first 10 months, up 27.4 percent from the same time last year, while imports amounted to $11.53 billion, an increase of 30.9 percent, the Central
Bureau of Statistics said on Friday.

The deficit in foreign trade has thus reached $6.39 billion, an
increase of 33.8 percent from the first 10 months of 2002. Exports
cover imports by 44.5 percent.
Expressed in the domestic currency, exports in this year's first 10
months amounted to 34.65 billion kuna, which is 8.3 percent more
than at the same time last year, while imports stood at 77.79
billion, an increase of 11.5 percent. The foreign trade deficit
amounts to 43.14 billion kuna.
