Adlesic, one of the two HSLS members who won seats in the new
parliament, said that she personally was not in favour of her party
being a part of the Ivo Sanader Cabinet, but she would support him as
the premier-designate.
Adlesic went on to say that she would certainly not become a
government member, and whether other HSLS members would go into the
Sanader cabinet, would be decided by the party leadership which is
to hold a session on 13 December.
She confirmed that she and the Liberal Party (LS) vice-president,
Zlatko Kramaric, had talked about plans to unite liberal parties in
Croatia and that the third liberal party, Libra, was interested in
it, too.
"The HSLS election convention is ahead of us", she added announcing
the convention for 17 January, and confirming that she or the other
HSLS MP, Ivan Cehok will be nominated as the party's president.
