Sanader was addressing a crowd of some 15,000 citizens at the
party's final election rally, staged in French Republic's Square in
downtown Zagreb on Thursday night.
He urged voters to vote for his party at Sunday's elections and not
to succumb to indifference and resignation. The HDZ offers
solutions for economic growth, more jobs and better living
standards, the HDZ leader said.
This will create preconditions for Croatia's admission into NATO in
2006 and the EU in 2007, he added.
He went on to say that his party had more allies in Europe than the
Social Democrats (SDP) and recalled his many meetings abroad with
leading European politicians.
He also reiterated the HDZ's promises to voters.
