ISTANBUL: SE EUROPEAN JOURNALISTS ON CONFLICT OF INTEREST

ISTANBUL, Nov 10 (Hina) - A two-day international seminar called "Conflict of Interest Research" which pooled some 30 journalists from eight Southeast European countries -- members of the Stability Pact Anti-Corruption Initiative for South Eastern Europe (SPAI) -- started in Istanbul on Monday. #L# The event was organised by the SPAI and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The SPAI was founded in early 2000 to provide support to Southeast European countries in transition in bids to curb corruption. During the two-day seminar Southeast European journalists will exchange experience on the way they discover and write about conflict of interest cases. (hina) it sb
