Addressing the event, the head of the government's office for
informatisation, Mladen Mauher, spoke about national plans for the
Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) infrastructure
in the coming five years.
The head of the Zagreb office of the IDC analyst firm, Boris Zitnik,
said the Croatian ICT market had been expanding in the past years,
with 55 million dollars spent in that field last year.
Uwe Gregorius, the technical director of Siemens, which co-
organised the conference, spoke about the ICT infrastructure's
role in business success.
