The police officials defined the areas which would be discussed in
more detail at the end of the year in Tirana, where an assembly of
the Southeast Europe Police Commissioners Association (SEPCA) will
be held.
The Tirana meeting should mark the beginning of a phase in which the
said countries would join in a regional struggle against some forms
of organised crime.
The meeting in Albania's capital will focus on the struggle against
car theft and illegal car dealing, the struggle against terrorism,
the prevention of illegal migrations and people trafficking, the
fight against drug trafficking, money laundering, and different
forms of smuggling.
