So far, 7240 persons have submitted a request for leaving the
defence system and they will be provided for accordingly, the head
of defence ministry's personal administration, Brigadier Zeljko
Valentic said.
Problems occurred in the cases of 2,562 persons who can work only at
certain positions in the defence ministry and the armed forces due
to their condition, he said.
Valentic said the problem was that a total of 1,282 persons were on a
long-term sick leave of whom some were on the leave for several
years.
