In an interview with today's issue of "Jutarnji list" daily,
Sanader accused the SDP and the HSS, the two leading parties of the
ruling coalition, of tapping the phones of opposition politicians
and journalists.
"It is unusual for such a high-profile politician, as Sanader
considers himself to be, to be able to afford the luxury of giving
such statements," Trconic said at a party news conference.
The HSS does not want to stoop to using such methods, but will work
positively towards designing projects benefiting citizens, he
said.
Trconic said he had no information that his party's coalition
partner -- the SDP -- was tapping the phones of the opposition and
journalists, and dismissed Sanader's claims as irresponsible.
