DIVULJE, Aug 17 (Hina) - A fire which broke out on Resnik hill between Gracac and Gospic in central Croatia was contained at 1 p.m. after burning about 150 hectares of underbrush and oak forest, the National Firefighting Centre said
on Sunday evening.

A fire in the Gornja Murvica area which broke out at 2 p.m. was
contained an hour and a half later, having burned about 20 hectares
of oak forest.
A fire which broke out in Bosnia and Herzegovina spread out along a
2.5 km line to underbrush in Croatia's Gornji Orah near Vrgorac
around 1230 hours. The fire was put under control in the Croatian
area around 7.30 p.m. while it is still ablaze in Bosnia.
