The chief of the international police force in Kosovo, Stephan
Feller, said at a news conference today that a special team of
international and local police had been set up to investigate the
murder and offered a EUR50,000 award for reliable information on
the perpetrators.
Satish Menon, a police officer from India who served in the Kosovo
international police force, was killed on Sunday in an ambush in the
village of Slatina near Leposavic in northern Kosovo.
