The policemen were supported on the occasion of the upcoming 500th
protest day.
Several emigrants from Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and Libya
prayed with the dozen unassigned officers who have been staying at a
chapel not far from the government since last September, when
police removed them from outside the government, where they had
been protesting.
The protest began after about 3,700 were laid off when the interior
ministry started downsizing.
