"Implementing the SAA is the most important task Croatia must do at
this moment in order to enter the next phase, namely to receive the
status of a candidate (for EU membership)," Mimica told a news
conference.
"We wanted to inform the public, in an active and interactive way,
about how state administration bodies are fulfilling their
commitments from the SAA," Mimica said. "We also wanted to create an
adequate data base for those participating in the implementation,"
the minister added.
The interactive plan is comprised of a multimedia CD-ROM and a web
application of the European integration ministry's data base.
Users can access latest information on the status of the
implementation of each measure, as well as other relevant
information on measures from the plan on implementing the SAA.
The CD-ROM and the data base are available in Croatian and English.
