celebrated in the Sarajevo cathedral. #L#
Puljic and Komarica were intercepted by a car whose driver hurled
insults at and provoked them in the very heart of the Bosnian
capital at a time when the streets were full of people.
The driver shouted "Tekbir" and "Allahu ekber" and swore at the two
dignitaries before driving off down the main street.
Police said the driver had been identified as Faruk Emirhafizovic,
a 23-year-old Sarajevo resident. He denied he was the man they were
looking for, but Puljic and Komarica recognised him. Police filed
an offence charge.
Sarajevo media covered the incident but only Oslobodjenje daily put
it on the front page.
